Horse Camping at Whiskey Creek
- You bring your horses at your own risk. You should be responsible enough to have your horse in good health and properly vetted, for the safety of all other riders.
- You must have insurance to cover any accidents with your horse - this means, "liability coverage".
- Whiskey Creek has a multi-use trail system. Horses must yield to all traffic.
- Please register in the Lodge, at front desk before going to the horse camping area.
- Non-member fees, as of May 1, 2004 are $28.00 for up to 4 persons per night, $5.00 for each additional person per night.
- No riding through the campgrounds, except in horse camping area.
- No swimming of horses in the lakes - do to bank erosion.
- Horse's are allowed in the parking lot - away from the Lodge building. Please stay off the grass areas, and remember it is a parking lot for automobiles and R.V.'s.
- Clean-up after your horse. Put in horse manure pile, ask where it is in the Lodge.
- You have full use of the facilities and activities, while you are visiting Whiskey Creek.
- Please do not leave your horse unattended while in the Lodge, or elsewhere on the property. We have many children on the Resort, and many have no fear of horses.
- Portable corals and string picketing is acceptable.
